A 52 Weeks of Fun Fascinating Fact about Sturbridge

Old Sturbridge Village is the largest living museum in New England, covering more than 200 acres. The Village includes 59 antique buildings, three water-powered mills, and a working farm.

The Cider Mill, in Sturbridge Village, is one of the few in New England that has survived. This building still boasts an original cider press with massive oak screws.

The Brinfield Antique Market is one of the largest in New England.

The famous Vermont Covered Bridge.

With its steeple pointing skyward, the Center Meetinghouse was the dominant symbol of every New England town. It was the gathering place for town meetings, elections, and church services.
